Police have launched an appeal following a burglary at a home in Kidderminster. 

West Mercia Police said the burglary happened on Highfield Road when the offender or offenders gained entry to the property by jumping into the garden and going through an unlocked conservatory door. 

The incident took place between 10pm and 9am on Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12. 

The number of offenders is unknown but officers said the suspects threw eggs at the windows and a single large vase was taken from within the property.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We are appealing to Broadwaters residents for information following a burglary.
