A car parking app is back up and running again after users in Wyre Forest were struggling to make payments.
Wyre Forest District Council said the MiPermit app, which allows drivers to pay for parking at a number of sites in the area, was experiencing issues yesterday (Tuesday, March 2).
Users had reported some difficulties in making payments at some car parks with the council reassuring customers that MiPermit were working hard to fix the app.
The council also advised residents that cash was still being accepted in all of its car parks and one free hour parking is also available in three of the car parks.
A spokesperson for Wyre Forest District Council said: "We are aware of an issue with making payments via the MiPermit app across some of our car parks today, Tuesday 2 April.
"MiPermit are currently working on a fix and we will update this post when it has been resolved.
"You can still pay by cash in all of our car parks. One free hour parking is also available in three of our car parks, more information can be found here: https://orlo.uk/nTKIR."
In an update, the council said the app was now back up and working again.
