A WYRE Forest district councillor has donated tents to a Kidderminster beaver scouts group using her community leadership fund.

Mary Rayner gave £120 to the Beaver Scouts of the KD11 Scout group in Broadwaters to help them go on trips.

She said: "The scout movement is a great way to learn to respect one another and become a useful member of society."

Group chairman Marcus Hill said: "Equipment such as this is always welcome as it extends the range of activities and experiences that the group can offer to the Beavers."
