A MAN has been arrested while in possession of envelopes which contained what police believed to be mobile phone SIM cards.
He was arrested after West Mercia officers were called to a report of a person behaving suspiciously in Vicar Street at about 7am this morning.
He was found in possession of nine first class recorded delivery silver envelopes, believed to have contained SIM cards, with addresses all over the country - including the addresses of mobile phone networks.
Police have carried out inquiries with the Post Office and with mobile phone shops in Kidderminster but have yet to trace the owner.
The man remains in custody assisting with inquiries.
Police are want to find the owner and anyone with information should call PC Ryan Petford on 101, quoting incident 42-S-040314.
