A HISTORY group will be discussing Worcestershire composer Edward Elgar at their next meeting in Kidderminster.
Brian Draper will be talking about Elgar's countryside to the Wyre Forest Historical Research Group on Tuesday, April 15 in the Corn Exchange at Kidderminster Town Hall.
Publicity Officer Gay Hill said: "Brian will take our audience on a light- hearted tour of the countryside in Worcestershire and Herefordshire connected with Elgar, starting at his birthplace in Broadheath.
"It will include Elgar's favourite pubs as well as other haunts such as Spetchley Park, Croome Court, Eastnor Castle, Little Malvern Priory and Powick. All we have to do is just sit back and enjoy it."
