THE best of British was showcased at the Mayor of Bewdley's final fundraising event.
Mayor Linda Candlin hosted a Bewdley Proms Concert to top up funds for brain injury charity Headway and the Bewdley Concert Band.
St George's Hall was decorated in red, white and blue celebrating all things British at the event, which was led by Bewdley Concert Band and the visiting Isle of Man Wind Orchestra.
Soprano Claire Worboys and baritone Jonathan Darby also performed.
During the interval the raffle was drawn with prizes donated by Bewdley businesses and a traditional British supper of fish and chips was provided by the award-winning Merchants Fish Bar.
During the second half, the audience sang and waved their Union Jack flags while being treated to Rule Britannia, Land of Hope and Glory and Jerusalem.
Mrs Candlin said: "I was delighted to see so many of our audience enjoying an evening totally supported by everything that is best in Bewdley."
