FLOATS and walking groups can still enter the parade at this year's Bewdley Carnival.

The committee also has room for anyone who would like to hold a stall at the annual event, which is taking place on Saturday, June 7.

The carnival will leave Hales Park at 1pm and leading this year's parade will be princesses Fearne Smith, six, and Sofia Tench, eight, of Bewdley Primary School and from St Anne's Primary School, Leah James, six, and Amelia Perrin-Tilt, nine.

The parade will travel through Bewdley town centre and along Stourport Road to the carnival field at Bewdley Leisure Centre for an afternoon of entertainment for all the family.

This year's main event will be K9 Quakers and Sheepdog and Duck Show as well as wrestling from HCW Championship, animal man Simon Airey, Severnside School of Dancing, West Midlands Tae Kwon Do and Got 2 Sing.

On Tuesday, June 3, the carnival committee will also be hosting a bingo evening at the Shaw Hedge Community Centre at 7.30pm.
