THIRTY-six artists will be opening up their studios for visitors across Bewdley as part of the town's annual Open Studios event.

Bewdley Open Studios, which will take place on Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15, will give art-lovers the opportunity to see various types of art by local artists, including watercolours, oils, acrylics, prints and three dimensional work.

Sixteen artists will be opening up their own studios and a further 16 will be displaying their work at Bewdley Museum and the Wheatsheaf Room from 10am to 5pm each day.

An exhibition of work submitted by the artists will also be held at the Bewdley Museum until Sunday, July 13.

Organiser Karen Parody said: "We're looking forward to it. There's people this time who have not exhibited with us before and there's talent in Bewdley that you don't know about."

She added that she had tried to put together an exhibition showcasing different skills and types of art.
