FIVE people have been arrested on suspicion of being involved in drug dealing after a warrant was executed in Kidderminster.
Three men and two women were arrested at an address in the Horsefair area of the town in the early hours of yesterday morning.
All five were arrested on suspicion on being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and remain in custody at Kidderminster Police Station assisting with inquiries.
The warrant was carried out under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
PC Craig Colley of West Mercia Police said: "Drugs are a top priority for us and warrants aimed at disrupting the activities of dealers take place across the force area on a regular basis.
"To really be effective in tackling drugs, we need help from residents who are our eyes and ears within the community. By working together we can really make a difference.
"I am urging anyone with information to contact the police."
Anyone with information should call police on the non-emergency number 101 or call independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
