A CARE and nursing agency has launched its services in north Worcestershire.

Key Staff, which already provides palliative and domiciliary care throughout Gloucestershire and Herefordshire, has set up a new branch in Comberton Hill, Kidderminster.

The centre will make it easier for people, especially those with acute and complex needs, to access specialist care, such as pain management, on their doorstep.

Wyre Forest MP Mark Garnier, who officially opened the facility last Friday, (July 25) said: “It was great to have the opportunity to see this new centre.

"The employees at Key Staff have a wide range of expertise and will be able to deliver care in a range of areas.

"While the location is ideal and easily accessible to clients and their families, the fact that the company has moved into Wyre Forest is good news for local employment. The new facility will mean more jobs for the local area.

"Key Staff are looking to recruit local people in Wyre Forest and they have already committed to coming along to my next jobs fair in early 2015 while, in the meantime, they are recruiting right now.”

In the coming weeks Key Staff plans to hold a recruitment event for local people who are considering a career in the care sector.

Zoe Grainger, area manager of the Key Staff branch, said: “We are delighted to have launched our new centre in Kidderminster and are particularly pleased that Mark Garnier MP was able to officially open the premises.

“We hope to build good links with the local community and we look forward to providing a professional and effective care service across the local area.”
