POETRY, storytelling and music will be performed in Kidderminster in August.
Kidderminster Creatives, an independent group of contemporary artists, musicians and crafts people, will host the series of events as part of the town’s arts festival.
A poetry workshop led by Sarah Tamar will take place on Sunday, August 10 from 2pm to 4pm while on Tuesday, August 12 at 8pm a special Mouth and Music event will be held.
The latter will feature former Birmingham young poet laureate Matt Windle, who is also a local boxing champion, folk duo Sirkel who play the saxophone, flute, violin and accordion, and clog dancer Ayliffe Edwards.
On Thursday, August 21 there will also be a night of spoken work from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
All of the events will take place at the Boar’s Head, Worcester Street, and more details can be found at kidderminster-creatives.org.uk
