'Help for Heroes' KS3 fundraising

Year 9 learners at The Bewdley School & Sixth Form Centre have nominated their chosen charity as ‘Help for Heroes’, and are about to embark on a three year fundraising campaign for this worthwhile cause. In order to ensure the learners fully understood what this charity stood for and where their money would be deployed, Major Ian Balding, the county co-ordinator for ‘Help for Heroes’ was invited to the Year 9 assembly. He spoke in depth about the organisation, and all learners received a HFH charity bracelet as a way of saying thank you for the money raised, and their anticipated support in the future. read more
