Peter McKinney
Sports Editor
Hello my name is Peter McKinney and I am The Shuttle/Times and News' sports editor, a position I am delighted to hold. I am a self-confessed sports nut who has been known to bore my lovely wife into submission on my favourite topic in the whole world - football. Yes I admit it, I am that person moaning in the corner at parties about the changes to the offside rule, which people do their best to avoid. Normally I am fairly mild mannered but have been known to fly into terrible rages for the smallest of reasons (Aston Villa losing, dodgy refereeing decisions, drug cheats in athletics) so my blogs will range from the light hearted to spleen venting homilies on what's wrong with everything and everyone in the world of sport. I will also give my thoughts on the local sport scene, particularly Kidderminster Harriers. I am also a new dad, with a nine month old daughter called Molly. This has given me a new insight into sport, which I will reveal as the months and years go by.
