Hi everyone, Bertie here. Me and the fundraising team here at KEMP have had a very busy weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday we were at Cooks Nursery for one of their open weekends. Every year we go along on various weekends to help with the refreshments. Lots of people went along to bag a bargain and have themselves a nice cup of tea and a biscuit.
Our plant fair took place at the hospice on Saturday; it was lovely

weather for it. A special thank you to Kidderminster Horticultural Society for collecting plants, pricing, selling, holding the raffle and much, much more, we are very grateful for their support. We also had our parachute jump at Hinton Airfield. There was a beautiful blue sky, the sun was shining and there was a lovely atmosphere. A big well done to Michelle Wise and Gary Wilkes for completing the jump.

On Saturday evening the Got To Sing concert took place at Kidderminster Town Hall. It was a great evening and we had lots of people buy raffle tickets.  Everyone was dancing in the aisles!
Sunday 18th May was our 12 hour swimathon at Feel Good Health Club in Bewdley. I went along and we had lots of people come along to swim as many lengths as they could for the hospice. By the end of the day the swimmers had managed an amazing 1,801 lengths of the pool which is 29 miles!! A splashing £2,600 was raised in sponsorship for the hospice. A huge thank you to everyone that took part.

Remember I am now available for personal appearances, so if you’re doing something exciting for KEMP and want me there please contact one of the fundraising team on 01562 756066 or fundraising@kemphospice.org.uk.
