X Fact or Fiction

Posted on 9:00am Tuesday 19th January 2010

Do you feel as I do, that the X Factor has begun to lose its appeal. Posted on 9:00am Tuesday 12th January 2010

Community spirit is something, that those of us who are lucky enough to have it, so very often take for granted. Although we may not always take advantage of this extra ingredient, which welds our community together, be assured that any attempt to remove it, would result in howls of protest. The same is true of our local shop, which is very much a part of our community. Some time ago, it was put up for sale, and generated interest from a potential buyer, hoping to obtain a 'change of use' from village shop to village restaurant.

Faces old, faces new

Posted on 11:35am Monday 11th January 2010

Newspaper photographers photograph people. More than anything else, we photograph people.
