I am a 63 year old Yorkshireman. Like all Yorkshiremen I am told I have a certain amount of Northern grit although, as I have no idea what that means, it is difficult for me to comment!

I worked for a large multi-national in sales for over 40 years and took early retirement two years ago

I have been married for over 35 years. How any woman could put up with me for all that time is a complete mystery. I may put her up for a medal!

I have two children and two grandchildren, the latter of which seem to take up an increasing amount of my time.

We moved to Kidderminster in 1972 with my job so after all that time I believe I am allowed to have opinions on the area!

I love the town and great countryside and feel privileged to live here.

However there are some things that annoy me as you may find out...
