Super libraries, multi use libraries, or community run libraries; what is the future for our libraries? Will plans for library provision in Worcestershire provide the level of service we expect, or what can be afforded? Electronic books and online research can lessen the reliance on bulky outdated books but libraries and books can provide other benefits; such as social interaction and the tactile satisfaction that handling books bring to many people; especially young children.

I'm sure many of you have been shocked and saddened over the diseperance of April Jones which was exactly a week ago today. As we all know these kind of things happen all the time and never normally have as much media coverage as this, but the main reason this has is because there were actual witnesses to Aprils abduction last Monday in her town of Machynlleth in mid Wales, the children that were playing with her on that fateful night say that April got into a " grey or lightely coloured van" this has sparked a huge nationwide hunt for missing April, and personally i think this is really terrible however the man accused of abudcting and murdering April, although no body has been found the man has been accused of her muder, i know there may be many opinions on this and on my blog this is what i usually will talk about big stories that have big opinions, and unfortunately this is one of those really horrible and dreadful stories.

Driving - Spanish style

In the UK, all drivers are aware of the stress of getting points on their driving licence and sometimes these points seem incorrectly placed (e.g. held up by a car accident and your five year old is expecting you to be at the school gates) but, regardless of why the points are there, the driver then becomes more stressed, in fear that the same thing could happen again. We all start with a clean driving licence (i.e. no points) and hope we never reach that number twelve but, well, things happen.
