My name is Dominic Giles and I am a teacher with 25 years’ experience in the classroom. I live and work in Stratford-upon-Avon.

I firmly believe that, as a society, we can do better and I am passionate about the need for us to develop a country with greater social equality, built on a sustainable environmental footing.

The Greens are opposed to the needless austerity measures imposed on the poorest in our society. We are one of the richest countries in the world and yet nearly a million people are using food banks. At the same time big business and corporations are avoiding tax. We will raise the wages of the lowest in society and tax those who can afford to pay more. We will raise billions for the common good by clamping down on tax avoidance and evasion.

We must protect our NHS from privatisation, bring the railways back under public ownership and invest in energy efficient public transport. The Greens are serious about tackling climate change and oppose all fracking In this election vote for what you believe, vote for a better future, vote for the common good, vote Green.
