Worcestershire agents A Victor Powell has won the management contract for 20 apartments in the heart of Redditch.

Partner Adrian Powell said they were some of the most handily placed apartments in the town and an excellent investment.

“We are handling this contract on behalf of a long standing private client, and the development was purchased fully let,” he said.

The apartments in Aspall Close, Redditch, are close to the town centre, the Kingfisher Shopping Centre, the train and bus station, and include two bedroom, two bathroom apartments as well as some large one-bedroom apartments.

The contract win is one of the first major successes announced by A Victor Powell since the firm merged with long standing Redditch-based agent John Truslove.

David Powell has become a consultant in the new practice, while Adrian Powell continues to run the Bromsgrove office within the new firm.

The John Truslove practice was established more than 32 years ago but it can trace a longer history through its acquisition of Redditch surveyors Neasom & White which was founded in 1856.

A Victor Powell was founded in 1946 by Victor Powell and his two sons David and Adrian have continued to run the family firm of chartered surveyors, auctioneers and estate agents.

Adrian Powell said: “This new business win illustrates how well the two firms’ skills complement each other.

“Our management practice continues to grow in Worcestershire with particular focus on residential developments, industrial sites and land.”
