Taylor Wimpey North Midlands’ satisfied homebuyers have rewarded the leading housebuilder with a five-star customer rating for the third year in a row.

An independent survey carried out by the Home Builders Federation (HBF) and the National House Building Council (NHBC) has resulted in Taylor Wimpey retaining the maximum customer satisfaction rating based on reviews from homebuyers.

Carl Cooke, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’re delighted that our satisfied purchasers have awarded us a five-star rating for customer service for the third year running.

“There is no better reward than seeing a happy homebuyer moving into their new property knowing that we’ve exceeded their expectations, both in the exceptional quality of our new homes and the first-class customer service we deliver.”

The survey sought the views of more than 30,000 new-build homebuyers and revealed that nine out of 10 customers would recommend their builder to a friend. The results were announced this month at a special ceremony at the House of Commons.

Stewart Baseley, Executive Chairman of the HBF, says: “These results clearly demonstrate that consumers are overwhelmingly happy with the service house builders are delivering.

“The people who really matter – those who buy new homes as opposed to industry commentators – are giving us a clear thumbs up.”

The survey is sent to all new home purchasers eight weeks after their moving-in date, and asks them to rate their house-builder on the service they received and the quality of their new home, with each company then awarded a star rating from one to five.
