Local estate agency Shipways are proud to have helped raise an incredible £11,805 in 2015 for CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading charity for children and young people with cancer and their families.  As part of the national estate agency network Sequence, Shipways has been supporting CLIC Sargent as its chosen charity since 2001 and, after the success of this year’s fundraising efforts, has raised in excess of £370,000 for the charity over the course of the companies’ partnership.

Throughout 2015, Sequence staff from around the UK have taken part in and organised many exciting and ambitious events to raise money for CLIC Sargent.  Highlights of the company’s fundraising activities range from testing challenges like the Tough Mudder, Ride London and skydives, to corporate events such as the Sequence Partner’s Ball and smaller branch events like bake sales and even a “guess the baby weight” competition.

“We have loved fundraising for CLIC Sargent, not just this year but for the past 14 years, and we’re thrilled to be able to contribute such an impressive amount this year,” says Simon White, Branch Manager at Shipways Hagley.  “We all enjoy getting involved and doing what we can for this extremely worthwhile cause.  CLIC Sargent does some amazing work for children and young people with cancer and their families, and we’re extremely proud to be able to contribute and be a part of that.  We’re looking forward to another great year of fundraising and hope to raise even more next year.”

Catherine Cadman, Fundraising Manager at CLIC Sargent comments:  “It’s such a huge amount that has been raised

this year, and in fact over the duration of the partnership so we’d like to thank each and every person at Sequence - we are so grateful for their continued support.

“It has been such a pleasure working with all the employees this year,” Catherine continues.  “To see their creativity, enthusiasm and generosity is amazing!  I am really looking forward to seeing what 2016 brings.“
