bdht, Bromsgrove’s largest provider of affordable housing, has received planning permission for 22 brand new homes for the third phase of its development on Perryfields Road in Sidemoor.

Following the popularity of the second phase, bdht is pleased to be able to offer a further six shared ownership properties for the people of Bromsgrove, helping to offer an affordable first step onto the property ladder. The third phase of the Perryfields development will see bdht providing a mix of spacious, energy efficient two and three bed houses, priced from £89,750 for a 50% share.

Potential buyers are advised to act fast and contact bdht to register their interest as demand is expected to outstrip supply.

Work is set to start on site in February 2016 with the properties expected to be ready for occupation in early 2017 For those ready to move now, there are three, two bed houses currently available at Perryfields Road in its second phase for as little as £71,800 for a 40% share. Shared ownership is a scheme which sees the buyer purchase a share of the property, normally 50 per cent, and pay rent on the remaining share. Gradually they can buy further shares and eventually own the property outright.
