CLEOBURY Methodist Church is being transformed into an art gallery for an arts and craft festival this weekend.

A display of local work will be on offer, as well as jewellery and gift cards.

The festival is organised by church members Simon and MaryLou Prentice, who have spent many years running a similar event in the Abberley area each summer.

A craft fair will take place in the Methodist Hall on Saturday between 10am and 5pm.

It is free to attend and the art gallery will be open both days.

The Sunday event runs from 1pm until 5pm and refreshments will also be available throughout the weekend.

Funds from the festival will go towards paying off the loan used to install solar panels at the church.

The hall has also recently been improved as a community venue and, in partnership with St Mary’s Youth Project, a youth cafe is being planned.
