A COMEDY based on the meeting of three sisters at their mother’s funeral is being performed in Kidderminster this week.
Memory of Water is the latest production by The Nonentities at The Rose Theatre, running until Saturday (November 8).
A West End hit upon release in 1996, it won a Laurence Olivier award for Best Comedy.
The play focuses on how each sister deals with their mother’s death and how it directly affects them.
As the women get together after years of separation, all their hidden lies and betrayals reach the surface.
The production sees the return of long-time member of The Nonentities, Shirley Gaston, as director. Do Evans, who recently celebrated 50 years on the stage, is also stepping in to play a small part.
