THE Base Sessions has produced a Christmas cracker to celebrate another year of rubbing shoulders with the stars.

Pharrell Williams and Jimmy Page feature in this week’s edition to mark the production team passing the 100 films produced milestone for the Base Sessions.

To celebrate, The News is presenting a pair of online videos shot earlier this year at the prestigious Nordoff Robbins awards which feature two of the most famous music stars on the planet.

In this week’s featured video clips, Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page tells the Base Sessions team about his musical journey in re-mastering classic albums by the band.

Singer and producer Pharrell Williams talks about the importance of music and how songs can change people’s lives.

The Base Sessions is recorded and produced at Base Studios in Stourbridge, it began in 2009 to provide publicity in the regional press for unknown performers.

The feature soon attracted the attention of bigger names in the music business and a host of well-known names including UB40, The Stranglers, Rick Wakeman, First Aid Kit, Black Sabbath and You Me at Six have now taken part in Base Sessions shoots.
