BUDDING artists from a Hartlebury art group will be displaying their creative talents at an exhibition in the village this weekend.
There will be 100 paintings on view at the British Legion Club on Saturday and Sunday, covering a wide selection of subjects.
The art group, which meets at the club every Thursday, will donate some of the proceeds to the Royal British Legion.
Nicola Blakemore, artist tutor and organiser of the event, said: "The art group has been meeting for more than a year now. The exhibition is sort of a birthday celebration for the budding artists.
"It's an opportunity for these talented ladies to show what they have achieved, especially as some of them have never painted before."
She added: "They are very excited about the prospect, as am I, to see how well some of them have grown in their creativity and with their techniques.
"Some of the more experienced artists will exhibit work they have done previously. Most of the paintings have been created during the classes.
"Some works show how the individuals have approached the same topic with interesting results."
The exhibition runs from 10am until 4pm on both days.
