Artist Alan back in town

AN exhibition by artist and illustrator Alan Phillips will be on display at Kidderminster Library from Saturday.

The exhibition, entitled Both Sides Now, will show both aspects of his work - traditional landscapes and imaginative re-arrangements of the urban environment.

Mr Phillips is originally from Kidderminster and attended the former Queen Elizabeth I Grammar School, Hartlebury, before moving to Devon 34 years ago.

Since then he has worked as a freelance illustrator and art tutor in further education centres and community colleges.

He has exhibited his work widely across the world since 1975, including France, Germany, Kuwait, Holland, and the United States. Both Sides Now runs until Saturday, April 26.
