Learn new skills on short courses

ADULT Learning Week will be marked at Bewdley Museum with a variety of inspirational courses.

During the week from May 17 and 23, visitors will have a chance to learn new skills with hands on sessions. Green-fingered enthusiasts can enjoy a Bonsai taster course and an introduction to garden design.

Meanwhile the Jubilee Gardens will provide a peaceful setting for painting in the park with local artist, Claire Spencer.

Creative folk can follow a patchwork course for beginners or develop their own design using silk and wire.

Booking for the courses is essential. To book a place, contact the museum on 01299 403573 or the tourist information centre on 01299 404740.

Further information about the courses can be obtained by logging on to www.wyrefor estdc.gov.uk/museum
