CONTESTANTS are needed for two BBC television series and are urging Wyre Forest residents to take part.

A new Saturday night game show called Win Your Wish List, which is to be broadcast next year, will see pairs of contestants choose their dream prizes to make up their wish list, all of which have a connection to their shared history together.

The couples will then face categories of questions in order to win each of their wish list prizes.

Between them, they must decide which one will answer the questions because the other will have to ask them.

Their judgement on who may know the answer will determine whether they win.

The hour-long episodes will be a new format for The National Lottery draw shows on a Saturday night.

Mark Linsey, controller of entertainment commissioning, said: “Win Your Wish List is an incredibly simple but highly addictive Saturday night game show, packed with drama, excitement, nail-biting jeopardy and some of the most treasured prizes on TV.”

Victoria Ashbourne, managing director of Victory Television, said: “It is unlike any other game show on television right now.

“The game guarantees exciting and nerve-wracking moments, a perfect fit for BBC’s National Lottery.”

Another BBC show on the search for contestants is the BAFTA nominated series Don’t Tell The Bride, which is looking for couples who want to tie the knot this year.
