LAUGH all the way to last orders as the two leading authorities on alcohol in Britain today bring a comedy show to Stourport to get audiences sozzled.

Ben McFarland and Tom Sandham know all there is to know about luxury drinks; how to serve them and how best to drink them.

And together they are the award-winning, comedic pairing of The Thinking Drinkers, who are bringing their new show The Legends of Liquor to the Civic Hall in Stourport tomorrow (Friday) as part of a limited tour.

A heady concoction of rapid-fire skits, comedic characters and purposefully terrible puns, mixed together with a generous measure of drink trivia and alcoholic history lessons, covering everything from ancient Greece to Andre the Giant, and everything in between, the show is more than just a funny drink up.

However, in addition to serving up some first-class comedy, the Thinking Drinkers also lay on an interesting selection of drinks for the audience to sample as the show goes along. With a minimum of five free drinks served during the show, the duo do their upmost to have you believing in their mantra of "Drink Less, Drink Better".

It is alcohol, history and comedy wrapped up in a clever, sharp show that quickens in pace, taking you on a hilarious alcohol-fuelled jaunt through time, on an imbibing adventure that hails the who’s-who of hooch.

Tickets, priced at £15, are available from the website at thecivicstourport.co.uk.

The show is strictly over 18's only.
