HISTORIC Harvington Hall will be bringing an Elizabethan flavour to their Christmas festivities this year.

The Hall will be creating a special Elizabethan Christmas household for visitors on Saturday, December 10 and Sunday, December 11 between 11-30am and 4pm.

Staff will be busy decking out the Hall in traditional festive greenery, complete with flaming log fires and all the sounds and smell associated with Christmas.

Elizabethan style musicians and dancers will be going through their paces with some festive merrymaking while visitors will be encouraged to join in a Christmas carol singalong and discover foods fit for a Tudor style feast in the Great Kitchen.

Hall manager Emma Pullen claimed: " It's always a delight to see Harvington Hall dressed at its best for Christmas and full of life as it would have been during its Elizabethan heyday."
