THE ring stars of Wyre Forest-based professional wrestling group HCW invade Wolverley next weekend for an evening of family friendly sports entertainment.
The event will be headlined by a top of the bill tag team grudge match between Kidderminster's number one wrestling duo "Mocho Man" Chris Cage and "Mr#1" Jonny Rose and the opposing masked tag team consisting of the champion of the USA known as Badstreet and his partner, the ITV World of sport wrestling legend, Mr X.
The four men have a combined 100 years of pro wrestling experience and have held titles throughout the world.
A spokesman for the event said: "Supporting bouts will feature Stourport's David Clarke, known in wrestling circles as the Foxcatcher, Kidderminster's rookie sensation "Turbo" Tommy Davis, Wrestling veteran Lewis Blain of the west country and overseas grapplers like Matt Adams of Canada, Tony Pacino from Italy and Slapshot, a former professional Ice Hockey player from Dallas, Texas.
"Championship matches, tag team bouts an a host of other local, national and international masters of the mat will make us this huge five bout bill of all action excitement where they young and old alike can boo the bad guy and cheer the good guy.
"A great night of family entertainment not to be missed."
The HCW wrestling event comes to Wolverley Sports and Social Club on Saturday, January 28, from 8pm.
Doors will open at 6pm, with entry on the night costing £2 for adults and £1 for children.
