RUN away to the circus at the Worcestershire County Museum at Hartlebury Castle on Bank Holiday Monday.

Try your hand at circus skills including juggling, spinning plates and stilt walking with circus professional Steve Kaos.

Children can also enjoy making a paper tiger and designing their own clown mask.

Families can dress up as clowns and enjoy following a circus trail around the museum where you can also discover more than 1,000 years of history.

The circus event takes place on Monday, May 29, between 11am and 4pm.

The fun continues between Tuesday, May 30, and Thursday, June 1, when children will be able to take part in fun circus themed craft activities between 10.30am and 4pm.

Two different craft activities will be available each day including making your own juggling balls, roll up clowns, jumping jacks and clown masks.

Pippa Ashmore, museum events officer, said: "Roll Up, Roll Up and come and join us for some circus fun here at the County Museum this half term.

"Come and be entertained or get involved and learn some circus skills."

The museum's cafe, James Kitchen, will also be open every day serving treats, lunches and snacks.
