BUDDING artists will be able to get tips and advice from a world renowned Bewdley artist through a series of workshops.

Hilary J Baker will be holding summer master classes at her 350-year-old studio in Bewdley Museum aimed at people of all ages and abilities.

They will be organised over individual weekends on Saturdays and Sundays from 10.30am to 3.30pm in June, July, August and September.

Subjects range from portraiture to life drawing and landscape painting with all materials provided.

Hilary’s work has featured on the international stage, including the National Portrait Gallery in London and she has been involved in art education for the past 10 years.

But this is the first time she is running such courses in her home town. She has also lent her support to the Bewdley Says No to Gladman campaign against a proposed housing development through the launch of an art competition.

Hilary will also be at the Made in the Museum open night at Bewdley Museum, which will be held on Friday (June 9) from 6-9.30pm where people can meet her, find out more about the master classes and submit entries for the Gladman competition.

People can also find out more about the classes at www.hilaryjbaker.com or by calling her on 07796 092262
