WYRE Forest's only literary festival is set to welcome Only Fools and Horses' Boycie to talk about Wigmore Abbey, in Herefordshire, which he brought in the 1990s.

John Challis will feature at Bewdley Book Week on Wednesday, September 6, at the Riverside Church Hall.

He will recount how they stripped the house and garden back, and started to create their vision which included a new garden that has attracted visitors from afar and was featured on television by Alan Titchmarsh.

Also featuring in Bewdley Book Week, is Wolves supporter Tim Gibbons and historical novel author Fen Flack.

Tim will describe how Wolverhampton Wanderers made it to Wembley in May 1988. His talk takes place on September 5, from 7.30pm at the Riverside Church Hall.

While, Fen will describe how she wrote her novel about Edmund Ironside and his Edward, 1,000 years after Ironside's short reign. She is at Riverside Church Hall on September 7, from 2.30pm.
