THE ring stars of Wyre Forest-based professional wrestling group HCW are set to invade Bewdley this weekend.
The group are heading to the Barn Venue, at the Bewdley Hotel, on Saturday (September 16) for what organisers are describing as the "biggest and most star-studded line-up" they have had all year.
The international bill is headlined by a contest for the Six Man Tag Team Championship of the World between trios of Honly Tonk Tommy (Kidderminster's Tom Farley) and his teammates the Masked Assassins - while in opposition, Lewis Blain, American legend Badstreet and Kidderminster's number one, Jonny Rose.
The show also includes a bout between Josh Smith and Tom Bond.
The 7.30pm showtime will kick off with a bout between local legend "MOcho Man" Chris Cage and the 2016 Wrestler of the Year as voted by Wyre Forest wrestling fans, the Foxcatcher.
Damien Shaw will tangle with Cannock's powerful Dan Striker in a match that HCW promoters have reinforced the ring for. The two men will meet for the first time on a one-on-one bout at this show.
