HISTORIC Hartlebury Castle will be invaded by a host of animals this weekend as part of a fun family event on Easter Monday (April 2).
A variety of animals including meerkats, skunks and armadillos, as well as snakes, scorpions and spiders will feature in the Animal Encounters event at the attraction from 11am to 4pm.
Visitors can also enjoy watching ferret racing with the Heart of England Ferret Association.
Younger visitors will be able to join in the Easter Egg Hunt and receive a chocolatey prize, enjoy following the Animal Trail around the museum, as well as geting their faces painted and trying out craft activities.
Hartlebury’s own Easter Bunny will also be present while people will get to have a go at archery.
A series of other events will be held throughout the two week school holiday.
