HONOURING the career of one of the biggest local rock bands in history, Led Zeppelin, Fred Zeppelin will be sending audience up the Stairway To Heaven when they perform in Wolverley.

During their time together, Fred Zeppelin have had the honour of Led Zeppelin’s frontman Robert Plant attending three of their gigs and John Bonham’s son Jason jamming with them on stage.

And those ultimate recommendations have led to other famous faces becoming fans. In past audiences there has been Magnum's frontman Bob Catley, Whitesnake's guitarist Mel Galley, Roy Wood, legendary main man of The Move and Wizzard, and Slade's Jimmy Lea.

Fred Zeppelin were also invited by Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page to attend a charity event of which Jimmy is a patron. Band members Kev, on bass, and Blackie, on drums, attended and were thrilled to meet and chat with the legendary guitarist.

Carrying on their enthusiasm and passion for all things Led Zeppelin, Fred Zeppelin will be at Wolverley Social Club, on Saturday, May 2. Advance tickets cost £6 and are available from wegottickets.com/event/308584. Tickets on the door will be £8.
