ROCK and Roll enthusiasts and jive dancers are invited to this year’s Rock and Roll Party in the Park on Sunday, May 31.
A day of live music will be taking place at Stourport Riverside Meadows from 11am until 6pm thanks to Wyre Forest District Council.
This free event will feature local artists such as The Straight Aces, Ellie Scott and Leo Nicks.
The Bobcats will also be performing along with top DJ Guy Roles from the UK 1950’s Radio Station.
Food, refreshments and a licensed bar will be available thanks to Brian Murdoch who will be sponsoring the event. Hickman’s of Kidderminster have also donated the use of a stage.
Councillor Marcus Hart, leader of Wyre Forest District Council said: “This event is a great free day out in some of the best parks and open spaces in the Wyre Forest. There is a fantastic line up of quality entertainment from local artists and performers. We look forward to seeing you there.”
Anyone wishing to support the council’s programme of free events will have the opportunity to make a donation and can do so online at wyreforestdc.gov.uk/events.
