PSYCHEDELIC blues rockers The Surrenders will be hoping to fill out a Birmingham venue after rocking a Stourbridge one just last week.

Supporting The Rimes alongside Young Skins, the four-piece, featuring Connor Brooks on lead vocals and the harmonica, Richard Jones on lead guitar and backing vocals, James Williams on bass guitar, and Scott Flavell on percussion, drums, and backing vocals, will be looking to continue making a name for themselves as they step out on the stage at The Sunflower Lounge, on Friday (July 24).

Taking influences from the likes of The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, Muddy Waters, Ike and Tina, and Otis Redding, this band are unlike others on the West Midlands rock circuit at the moment, and are channelling that into their debut EP.

The Surrenders will also be appearing at The Woodman, off Louise Street, in Gornal, on Saturday (July 25).
