A FREE acoustic music event will be held at Habberley Valley Nature Reserve this weekend.

Music in the Valley, organised by Wyre Forest District Council, will show off some local talent and one of the area’s prettiest nature reserve on Saturday (August 15).

For the fifth year running it returns to the district with more on offer than previous years, including performances from Sam Draisey, the Puxtons and Ellisha Green.

The Lown Lizards and the Ridge Top Mountain Boys will also be performing at the event, which begins at 4pm and will end at 7pm.

Food and drink will be provided by Bunn’s Hog Roast and a park and ride service will also be available from Habberley Road Playing Fields between 3pm and 8pm for visitors to the event.

Councillor Sally Chambers, cabinet member for health, well-being and housing, said: “This event is a great opportunity to get the whole family together and join us in our lovely nature reserve.

“There is lots going on in the area and this free event promises to be a great evening of live music and entertainment.”
