KIDDERMINSTER rockers The Missing Lynx are making a welcome return to the Bands In The Park live concert series at Brinton Park this Sunday.

Organised every summer by Wyre Forest District Council, this free event runs over six weekends during the summer, with various bands appearing in the Brinton Park bandstand.

This Sunday (August 16) a wide range of rock and roll covers will be on offer from The Missing Lynx, including classic songs from the likes of Free, The Rolling Stones, The Who and The Kinks, plus more recent numbers from bands such as The Black Keys, The Killers, The Kings of Leon and Muse.

“We’re delighted to be returning to the Bands In The Park for a third year” said Greg Williams, one of the band members.

“It’s a great event, hopefully with equally great weather and an abundance of picnics and deck chairs, and we know from experience that both the band and the audience will have a lot of fun on the day."

The Missing Lynx will kick off on Sunday at 2.30pm, and will be playing for about two hours.
