KIDDERMINSTER'S Classical Music Society will welcome international concert artist, Daniel Ciobanu, to Wyre Forest tomorrow.

With his daring repertoire, Daniel has taken the British piano circuit by storm and received a number of international accolades.

He earned Young Musician of the Year in Edinburgh and is also studying for a postgraduate diploma at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Daniel has attended masterclasses with several reputed teachers and has entered many major competitions, winning first prize in the Bromsgrove International Competition and first prize and special prize at the UNISA International Piano Competition in Pretoria, South Africa.

His recital will take place on Friday (April 29) and is scheduled to include music by Rachmaninov, Liszt/Horowitz, Chopin and Strauss, plus a knockout performance of Ravel's La Valse.

The recital will begin at 7.30pm in Kidderminster Town Hall.
