KIDDERMINSTER blues band Heavy Oil are on track for a busy few weeks with the announcement of more live gigs.

The trio will be performing at the Iron Road in Evesham on Saturday (September 10) night, with support from Blackballed, and tickets cost £5 on the door.

Later this month, on September 24, they will be playing a free show at the Cock and Magpie in Bewdley.

And then, on October 14, Heavy Oil will be at the Queen’s Head in Wolverley for another free gig.

Drummer Richard Jones said things are going well for the band. He said: “We have received a lot of radio play for our song Midnight Train.

“We released a video, filmed in a goods shed at Kidderminster train station, and that has been well received.”
