A POPULAR choir from Kidderminster will be performing a fund-raising concert at a church tomorrow.
Kidderminster Male Choir will be at Saint Mary’s Church in Cleobury Mortimer on Friday, September 23 from 7.30pm.
Proceeds from the show will be donated to The Friends of Saint Mary’s Church group.
A spokesman for the Friends’ committee said: “The Choir’s high standard of musical performance has grown to become one of the finest and most respected male choirs in the UK.
“The Choir brings to the stage an enviable reputation for musical excellence and variety. They have built up a remarkable record of success on concert and competition platforms.
“They have an extensive range of male choir musical arrangements with over 130 items in their music library from which they select about 30 songs for a performance.
“Arrangements include show songs, popular music, spirituals, and other traditional male choir items.”
Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for children - including a drink during the interval - and are available from Cleobury Pharmacy, Cleobury Library, Spire Hairdressing in Cleobury, members of the Friends Committee or ring Alec Osbaldiston on 01584891351.
