KIDDERMINSTER blues band Heavy Oil will be delighting fans with a free show in Bewdley this weekend.

The trio will be performing their brand of hard rock and blues at the Cock and Magpie on Saturday, September 24 from 9pm.

It’s not the only free gig in their diary as, on October 14, Heavy Oil will be at the Queen’s Head in Wolverley.

Drummer Richard Jones said things are going well for the band. He said: “We have received a lot of radio play for our song Midnight Train.

“We released a video, filmed in a goods shed at Kidderminster train station, and that has been well received.”
