BLUES trio Heavy Oil will be performing a free show for fans at a Wolverley pub.

The Kidderminster band will be performing their hard rock and blues numbers at the Queen’s Head in Wolverley on Friday (October 14) from 9pm.

It has been a busy period for the band with a string of local gigs in the past few weeks, while their song Midnight Train has also helped raise their profile further.

Drummer Richard Jones said: “We have received a lot of radio play for our song Midnight Train.

“We released a video, filmed in a goods shed at Kidderminster train station, and that has been well received.”
