A TOP Eagles tribute band will headline a gig in Kidderminster next weekend in support of charity Crackerjacks Children’s Trust.

The Counterfeit Eagles will headline a show at the Kidderminster Harriers Supporters and Social Club, in Stadium Close, on Saturday, March 18, as part of their Fastlane 2017 tour.

The event will raise funds and awareness from Kidderminster-based charity, Crackerjacks Children’s Trust - who support children with disabilities and their families.

A raffle will take place on the evening to raise much-needed funds for the charity.

The Counterfeit Eagles are a five-piece authentic Eagles tribute band and have been together for more than six years. The band spend most of their weekends performing to sell-out audiences throughout the West Midlands.

Ken Slater, the band’s bass guitarist and band manager, said: “The Counterfeit Eagles have been playing the Eagles’ music in venues for more than seven years and we have rave reviews from venue owners and audiences alike.

“We are pleased to be able to support such a wonderful cause as the Crackerjacks Children’s Trust.”

The band will be back in Wyre Forest later this year, with a return to the Harriers Supporters and Social Club on December 2, and a gig at the Wharf, in Stourport, on December 9.

The Counterfeit Eagles will be supported on the night young singer songwriter, Matt Sayers. Matt, who is from the West Midlands, started performing live in 2014 and hasn’t looked back since.

Terry Bull, joint founder of Crackerjacks Children’s Trust, added: “We very much appreciate the support from this event and any funds raised will help us to continue our work and support for children with disabilities and their families.”

The event on Saturday, March 18,, which kicks off at 8pm, will also include a food buffet and a disco.
