THE next two weeks see Music in the Hall hosting three live music nights at St George's Hall, in Bewdley.

The events kick off on Friday, March 24, when Birmingham's Peacock Angell headline the stage - co-promoted with Bewdley Festival and Shindig.

Sid Peacock and Ruth Angell have worked together on a number of musical projects since 2001. They decided to perform together from 2009, followed by the release of their album "Love Forgiven".

The current six-piece band featuring Eimar McGeown (flute), Steve Tromans (piano), Simon King (guitar/bass) and Tymek Joswiak (drums) was formed in 2014. The band have performed at Moseley Folk Festival, Birmingham Symphony Hall and Belfast Eastside Arts Festival. Their combination of folk and contemporary music promises to create a great evening.

Tickets for March 24, event are £9 and doors open at 7.30pm.

On Sunday, March 26, BBC "Introducing in Hereford and Worcester" comes to the Hall, for a live performance by four new bands - Sainte Alto, Sweet Talk, Jay and Hunter, and the Phones.

The event is free to attend and doors open at 6.30pm.

While the third and final event, on Friday, March 31, welcomes two of Nashville's elite artists to Bewdley.

Brigitte DeMeyer has six albums to her name as a singer, songwriter and guitarist.

While, Will Kimbrough is an award-winning guitarist.

Brigitte and Will released their co-written and produced album, "Savannah Road" last year, to critical acclaim.

Local talent, Ellisha Green, will be the support act on the evening.

Tickets are £10 and doors open at 7.30pm.
