KIDDERMINSTER Male Choir has will raise much-needed funds for the local branch of the Alzheimer’s Society at their Spring Concert next month.

The choir’s Spring Concert will take place at Kidderminster Town Hall on Saturday, April 1, from 7.30pm.

Kidderminster Male Choir, a charity itself, is always keen to support work in the local community and many of its members are of an age where the fear of losing their memory and ability to learn is closer to home.

In addition to the choir’s performance on April 1, local soprano, Hannah McFarland, will be adding to the sparkle of the evening with some well-known songs from the world of musical theatre.

Nigel Wolfenden, publicity officer for the Kidderminster Male Choir, said: “Our lads are really up for this one and are looking forward to making many new friends and through this contact with a charity close to our hearts.”

A spokesman from the Alzheimer’s Society added: “This is a great opportunity for people to support our work and have a great night out listening to a fantastic local choir, which has a reputation for entertaining its audiences.”

Tickets are £12 and are available by calling 01562 827936 or the Kidderminster Town Hall box office on 01562 732158.

Alternatively, tickets can be purchased from the choir’s website, kidderminstermalechoir.co.uk.

Tickets will be available on the door, subject to availability.
